Late Tiger suspension

I am about to start the assembly of the suspension on my late Tiger and have noticed that the late Tiger uses 5mm and 5.5mm torsion bars but my early Tiger used 4mm and 5mm torsion bars. I know that the early Tiger suspension was prone to settling after running for some time but have not heard of any problems with the late Tiger. If set at 35degrees as per the instructions does the late Tigers suspension settle ? or what angles have builders set their suspension at to allow for settling.
Many thanks
Steve

There was much discussion on this in the early days. I have set my early Tiger at 35 degrees and the rear has settled a little with the weight of the batteries. If I were to build the model again I would set the angles at 35 degrees with the rearmost three axles set a little higher at say 40 - 45 degrees. I think that would be a good compromise.

Thanks Allan,
I think i will go with 35 degrees and 40 degrees on the rearmost 2 axels on each side.
