The sound systems that many members fit to their machines are very realistic.
There is a move afoot to make all electric cars on UK roads have a sound generating unit, to replicate engine noise, to prevent pedestrians soiling themselves when they find they have failed to notice a silent car approaching as they step blithely out into the road.
A G-Whiz, Smart or Fiat 500 with a King Tiger soundtrack would be rather fun...
