Hello
I disassemble my M2 to repaint it.And when I turned the inside dia. of tires,I made them a tight fit to the road wheels. But there too hard to get off,and there's no room for glue.So my question is what is a good fit,or how tight should they be? I have to glue them in place, because they will slip off if you don't.Thanks guys from Dan.

Dan, I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

First you say:

> But there too hard to get off,and there's no room for glue

But then you say:

> I have to glue them in place, because they will slip off

If they are too hard to remove, I can't see why they should slip off ?

Adrian.

Hello Dan

The tyres are supposed to be a tight fit so there is no need to glue them on. How you fit the tyres is to heat them up in a pan of hot water for 10 mins or so they will then be soft enough to fit over the rims. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,Yes I was talking about the 16 bogie wheels I called them road wheels. There made from nylon stock. All of them had to be turned on a lathe.I made them fit tight,But some came off 1/8" with the vehicle running.
And that is why they must be glued on.I will have to play with the fit of these, when I get to this part.To clear this up there are 8 bogies wheels,4 per side, with two tires per wheel. Thanks from Dan
