Hi Guys
I was wondering if any one out there had information
about the front viewing scope on the Stug III.
I want to make the thing open and close and I have a couple of photos
but I cant see from those if the wedge shape cover slides or pivots.
Is it the same as the one on the Tiger?
Does any one have a drawing or sketch? of the parts.?

Hi Derek,

The drivers visor armor was of the pivoting type.
This picture shows the pivot


And this is what the interior looked like


The black handles on both sides of the visor port are used to open/close the armorplate. In this picture the armor is in the open position.

Just starting to make this does any one have a line drawing they could post for the pivoting cover PLEASE.
