Today I primed the hull with etch primer and add Mr surfacer 500 to the flat hull plates the model is now finished ready to ship up to Noels place next Friday for painting and weathering I will leave off the wheels tracks and tools until later ... Dale

I hope i even get close to it some day. I think i will have to extend my closed quarters workplace first thou .

That is a super nice job on the Sherman Dale. Fantastic details. I hope mine comes out that nice. The surfacer treatment looks like weathered snow camo! I can't wait to see it painted!

Last night I gave my sherman it second coat of primer over the Mr surfacer. Now it done ... I just have to wait for my King tiger .. No more modeling for a while . Back to jobs around the house to build up the brownie points . Dale

Of course you'd have to change your planned post-Battle of the Bulge paint job to a Normandy one for it to fit in around here.

Glad you're planning on keeping this Sherman. I was going to say I would sell mine and buy yours if you planned on selling it. But it sounds like I'd have to arm wrestle Tim for it. Probably best if you keep it - to prevent us having to fight over it! I think Tim would win anyway!
