Hi Freddie,
I, for one of many buyers, am waiting for both the UPS man and more of KT pictures on website everyday. Pictures from all new KT owners are always welcome.
Happy modelling!

Hi Freddie,
It looks like you been waiting for this one, you´ve already started, must be all that brew (starköl) that´s in the centre of the photos
I got mine too today and I´ve just gone through all the parts, there´re a lot of them.

Hi Freddie, Per and others (lucky ones...)
Looks like something worth waiting for and I do not talk about the beer
Wow, do that front plate look massive.
All of a sudden a Panther build sounds so "last year" as we now have to listening to a lot of KT-talk...
I love that - just bring them on!
Cheers
Kent

Hi Freddie
Thanks for sharing the photos. It looks like you are off to a great start! I cannot get over how thick that front glacis plate is! Every time I see a photo from this kit it amazes me. That must weigh a ton.
Please keep the photos coming.

Will post more in the days to come, ive decided to put it up as i said to check it out, kids wanna see it in full monty.
And so do i to comparise different things and to check up on fit.
Dun matter if i have to tare it apart again. It´s all part of the newbie process
.
As i have goten the excellent book by Waldemar Trojca, Königstiger ivé decided my tank will be a late no:300 riden by Friherr Von Rosen in the late of Oct 44 as i like their camo schedule, with light green instead of dunkel green. Guess i have to mix the pots up with some white
.
Need some filing on the backside of the turret and will fill you guys in before i start etch priming the alloys.
Kent i did a sample of the rolled armor on a old plate i had and man Thanks............. it all came out after sanding and TS3 as you said......... Your the shit m8. Sorry but swearing but true!!.
So i keep you guys posted

Todays work have been mostly focused on filing and sanding
.
There is a lot of corners that needs to be done.
After that i started assembly of the hull and turret.
Got frustrated with some hole alignments that were totally off, and all screws were very loose. Take it of more filing and sanding, but its still wrong on the upper pannier where the M5 screwa are to fit and i have double checked if the model is leveled and it is ???
Gimmie some input on how the other models have been or is this a normal procedure been filing for about 4 h in total on the pieces to get a somewhat good fit.
Here is some more pics.
Enjoy soon to be ready checked and disasembled hehe

As you see the gap is huge when i fasten the m5 screw in the back and its almost needs forcing to close it.

Fredrik,
Armortek normally advise losley assembling the hull without tightening any of the screws then tightening them up together at the end. This worked for me on the Tiger 1 and Sherman.

hi Freddie
Mine went together quite easy, but i did 'finger tight only' all the bolts, and then removed my suspension bars to fit the grease nipples, and the bearing housing for the idler. All went back together easy. I am very impressed with the kit.

Strange then i havent tighten any nuts and i can remove them with ease with my fingers.
Well as a newbie i will as said earlier disasemble it tomorrow and check more precisely whats the bug dont want to chop up half my tank
.
Did some Kent treaments on the exhaust guards and ruffed them up hehe but will probably look better with MR.surfacer and some Putty on em for shape and looks. So tomorrow i will etch prime them and see what they look like with TS-3 on
.
Seems like i will have to build a crankstarter fitting and adaptor From JB weld or something.
Happy trails guys
Freddie
