Excellent detail Dale :D

I like the way you've slotted in the guard - what did you use to make the slits :?:

Looks good Dale. I also modified the guards to fit in slots in the hull. In the photos I have the top of the guard is more pointed, it is not a constant bend radius, so I made it more pointed. I also used the grain of wqheat light bulbs, they are very good.

Dale,
The light looks excellent. It was great to talk to you briefly the other night. I like the way you have slotted the front plate to recess the light gaurds, looks so much better. Fantastic details.

Dale,
Smashing job. The yellowish light colour is exactly right for the old tungsten filament bulbs. Too many people are using dead white LEDs in WW2 models...but they do run cool and last a very long time!
Where did you get your lens cover from? I have been looking for ages for a suitable donor, and have taken to going through the toy boxes in the local thrift shops!
cheers, Fabrice

Hello Fabrice . Like you for the past two years from when the kit arrived and I first saw the armortek had light without lens , I have be keeping a lookout at my toy shops for toy cars , bikes , planes any thing that would do with know luck . Then two week ago I was going through my old plastic kits and came across my 1/9 scale Revell kublewagon kit . I dived into it and there they where two clear lens . I could not beleive it they where the correct fit and pattern .... Dale .
