Jens,

Thats a good looking RC car, it looks more complicated than a Formula 1 car! I expect it goes a little faster than the Tiger.

Welcome Jens :D

Never worry about that, you are far more likely to be flamed here for painting your tank in the wrong colour than you are for spelling or grammer

Adrian.

Hi and Welcome Jens!

Good to see a fellow hobbyist with its #1 language other the English :D
Never mind your English - I have managed with my school English for years and they still understand me...

One of the best things with this hobby is in fact this forum and all people here. A spin off effect just getting better and better.
Especially for me sitting close to the Arctic Circle with my nearest 1:6 tank friend in Stockholm 1000km from me.
You will get to know people all round the world and be amazed how close we come together here no matter if you live on the other side of the globe and have night while others have lunch.

Here you are among friends who share the same interest as you and a question will always be answered - or at least with an answer that "we don’t know"

Looking forward to see photos of your build as photos is something we all like.

Cheers
Kent

Hi Jens,

A warm welcom from Holland (Niederlande) and into the world of Heavy Metal Armor!! Before I discovered the fantastic Armortek models I too used to race 1:8 Serpent model race cars! In those days they were made in their little factory in Heemstede by Pieter Bervoets. I lived in Heemstede and often visited the factory and Pieter.

Hi Matthijs, I too used to race 1/8th cars (from 1977 to 2001) and have raced on the track at Heemstede many times. I also refereed over there as well. I knew Peter very well and visited the factory quite a few times, I also knew his brother Fonz who started the AMB company making auto lap counting systems, as in the early days I worked closely with him writing software for the BRCA in the UK to use. Brings back many happy memories.

Hi Dennis,

I raced quite a longer time ago back in the 80's!! That´s when Serpent started and I bought there first model which was very very basic! No suspention no differential only 4 wheels and engine ha ha ha!! Good memories indeed.
What a small world!

Cheers,

Matthijs
