Hi Tim
These are great photos I am just starting to unpack my PzIII
and I will be doing a Stug IIIG conversion. I wonder if you have any shots of the rear panel detail round the exhausts and the rear of the fighting compartment?
Also What are you building next?
Regards
Derek

Tim,
I nice set of photos of a "factory fresh" Stug. I've noticed that every thrid track horn appears to be a pierced one. Does anyone know the reason for this configuration, seems strange to me?

Hi Derek,
Unfortunately those are all I took that day of the Stug. It's hard to describe, and I know it sounds funny, but with the vast number of vehicles there it's almost paralyzing with so many things to look at and photograph. One could probably spend two full days there photographing and still miss something.
I took pictures of everything I could think of but of course when I got home I was kicking myself for not taking more pictures!
As far as what my next build is. I'll be joining the Tiger 1 crowd with a late Tiger 1. In fact, the main hull components are etch-primed and loosely assembled. I plan on doing many things different early on in the build that I learned from the Panther.
I'm glad to hear you will be doing a conversion as well. I'm jealous but very much looking forward to seeing your build progress.
Hi Allan,
I don't get the track guides either. I thought it was just a mix of early and late type links.

Derek,
If you need pictures I live close to Aberdeen Proving Ground and they have a Stug III G and a Stuh III, let me know what you want to see and I will try to get there and take pictures. They also have 2 Pz III, an M and an early one with a 37mm.
