The re-shaped transmission hatch is now in place, filled and primed. Some work left to finish the hinges and surfaces.

Excellent work Stephen. 8) Looking very nice. What did you use to bond the extension piece on the hatch? or did you make a new one?

Tim

Tim - the extension piece is simply the piece cut out from the original deck. I then used Zap thick CA glue to bond it, which to my surprise it did very well, having used Zap Kicker to freeze it in place. The surface and cutting slot were then prepared with Milliput and finished with fine wet and dry abrasive paper.

I've been photographing and measuring the Bovington vehicle today and I'll post some comments separately.

Regards

Stephen
