Hi Clive,

I'll have to give it a miss until after the hols as we have a few friends & family coming round and I need to stay in the good books with a new build (Panzer III) getting delivered early in January and loads more tank meets  .

Have a great Christmas :D and remember if you do meet up take some more photo's in portrait please  .

Thanks Antony

Hi Clive,

Sorry mate I'm in the same boat as Antony, I’ve got my family Boxing day and Saturday, then going to see Helens on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Some how in-between that I need to get on with my halftrack, don’t think I’m going to get chance from what’s been said, but a feller can try!

Paul  .

Hi Fellas.
A few mails have gone back and forth between Antony and I regarding our future runs and i know Ant has mailed you regarding this, i have contacted Leighton in the first instance about renting a plot {that we spoke about in the Royal} to that i have had no reply since they said they would think about it, which was back in November, since then i have mailed them twice more the last time being this evening perhaps i got no response due to Christmas on my previous mail so we will just have to wait and see.
So that is the state of play at Leighton Hall i just thought i would let you all know that i have tried.
Cheers Paul

Hi All,

Clive has mentioned we are clear to go back to the Hall after the 10th. Shall we all meet at our usual place and see where to go from there :?:

Thanks Antony

Hi.
Clive is correct the tenth "was" mentioned but 4 e mails since and no confirmation? i am assuming we may not want to just turn up without permission on private land?? or at least i will not be doing so!

I had a reply from Suzie this evening she apologised again for the lack of contact and said that she has been going down south due to a family illness and that she would pass on my e mail to Lucy...so as we stand as far as i can see we do not know anything new and i for one will be waiting until i do, if nothing else out of common courtesy, we must try to remember we have only ever been guests at Leighton hall because i asked for permission in the first place.
Regards Paul

Fair enough Paul, we'll leave Leighton Hall alone until you have an answer off Lucy.

When & where does everyone want to meet to discuss our options :?: :?:

See you soon, Antony

Hi Fellas.
Right just in from work and i have some news for you all, i have copied and pasted a mail i received today from Lucy at Leighton hall here it is in full below for you to see

Happy New Year and I am sorry I have not e-mailed you. Please don't think that we don't want you and the tanks back here at Leighton as we think it is great.

Just a suggestion, the shooting season is over towards the end of January, so not long now, so you can go back to where you were before. When you are all back and on site we can have a chat over a coffee about possibly renting a bit of land. It is an easier conversation face to face.

What do you think?

Do you want to say to the others that the first Sunday back here is the first Sunday in February to play it safe. I don't weant to P*** o** the game keeper! We will have to keep an eye on the ground as it could be very wet and I don't want to destroy it.

That is Sunday 1st February 2009.

Anyway, let me know.

Cheers
Lucy

PS Sorry again.

I myself think that this sounds far more promising than the ominous silence had suggested to me especially the bit about the land rental so i have replied and said we will be there, i assume that is O.K. this is an invitation to all so we need a decent show i would say! let me know your thoughts.
Cheers Paul

Hi Paul,

Fantastic   Don't worry I will be there :!: It sounds very interesting regarding a bit of land to rent. I can see those buildings and bridges going up now.

See, it paid off not hassling them too much.

WELL DONE Paul & Thanks :!: :!:
