panther tow bar

Post by Mark Gaier »

I am working on the rear cover on the panther. The holes for the tow bar seem out of scale. I have seen some great details on the tow bar and gusset supports. Can anyone show me how and what they did.

Hi Mark

There's been several done that are very nice. Bob Morey's is just one example. He machined some real nice bosses out of brass and inserted them into the bracket along with other nice mods. It can be seen under this thread.

Thanks for the cudo's Tim. But you're being too humble, you did some great modifications on your Panther rear plate as well.

Here are some photos of the modifications I made to rear plate. Hope they help?

Happy Holidays everyone! Hopefully you're getting some time off to work on tanks!
