Sherman tools

Post by Dale jordan »

I have now moved onto fixing out my Sherman with the tool sets . In this photo you can see I have used brass to make up new holders . Later I will add the nice photo etch buckels that I brought from armorpax with the 6mm webbing to belt down the tools ..

Excellent detailing Dale :D

I see you've also replaced the lifting eyes. You'll be able to pick the Sherman up by them now

Great work Dale, this was one bit of the build I particulalarly liked doing. Are you going to make the fittings to take the tiedown straps?

The Sherman as been a love hate relationship for me . The model is good from Armortek . I have made lots and lots of mod's but it still looked to ugley and plan Sherman like !!!! but now I have added the stowage rack and the tools are going on , it's starting to take shape . I could not be happer with my workmanship so thats good . I am looking foward to the PZIII and the king tiger . I have re boxed my PZIII and tape it up !! until I have finished my Serman . I will never have two models on the go at the same time agian . I think it better to start fresh .. Dale
