Dave,
Great photos of the Beltring Panther A. Anybody know any history on this tank? Its obviously been beat up a bit, but apparently been restored to running condition?

Amazing that it runs with the huge hole in the right drive sprocket and two penetrations in the right rear pannier. Looks to be about 37mm or 2 pdr penetration holes?

These rounds must have dissabled the tank originally? Or was this tank on a modern firing range? Looks like the front torsion bars are getting a bit tired too, with the nose down attitude. Also the muzzle break was removed by a round or impact too?

All good stuff - I like a vehicle thats a little rough on the edges.

Thanks for sharing your photos.

The tank is a long way from being a runner. There is not much inside and some of the suspension is seized solid. They say the gearbox looks good and have an engine but that is all I know. It came fom the French tank museum at Samur.
