Well after 12 months of enjoyment, the 88 is nearly finished, just the gun leaning rods to be stained and painted, wooden handles for one set of tools, and some tools straps, I started to apply the white wash, and like the halftrack I will wash off most of it, and weather the rest of the paintwork, this is the first time the gun has been on its wheels for nearly a year, and I had forgot just how big this model is, I could not wait until it was finished so some pictures of the build so far

Hi Jeff,

I was watching your progress and your effort almost every week. This is the most detailed model I have ever seen in my life. Congratulation on
your work. For me it is difficult to find a word better than phantastic. If there is any you have engauged it.

May I ask what is your next modell ?

Hi Jeff

Like everyone else, I have enjoyed watching your progress with every post of yours. I couldn't wait to see your 88 with it's final paint as I could only imagine how good all the detail work would look when finished. I'm almost sorry you are done as it was fun looking forward to your next post on this project.

Unbelievable. Just as everyone else, I look forward to whatever your next project is. Please continue with the great progress pictures of whatever it is.

First class work.

Kind regards

Tim

Roland, Steve & Tim many thanks for the kind comments, really appreciated.
Hi Stuart you can buy the cable at Maplins, its twin core, and separates easily, so you get twice as much for your money

Jeff

That is one superb model and it really has a used rather beaten up look about it. An amazing museum quality model and I look forward to seeing it in the flesh some day.

Jeff, Fantastic job. Although I didn't comment much, I did enjoy following your progress. The detail is superb on the 88. I agree with others it looks like the real thing. The rifled barrel is tops.
Kind regards,
Bob

Excellent work Jeff, another superb model. I look forward to watching your progres with the 222. If it turns out half as good as the half track and the 88 it will be an outstanding model.
compliments of the season to you
