Silly question, but where is the exhaust exactly. Looked in various photos, walk rounds and whatever reference photos I can find, but can seem any sign of it anywhere.

It just pokes out of the right hand side of the rear chassis plate:

good question.
At this video, you can see the exhaust smoke on the rear right hand side. The system is between the tracks (3:26min):
