Love the crosses and numbers "showing through" the paintwork

Did you section the tail to get the effect of the rear armour

Are you bringing your 222 on Sunday It'll be interesting to see how it drives. BTW did you run out of Jerry cans or were the US cans on there on purpose as I have a couple of spare German ones

The rears not sectioned, all i did was add steel sheet over the top of the existing steel, i also rebuilt thelower rear to include the cooling vents and access covers.

Should be there Sunday with the 222, Just need directions . Your right i did run out of jerry cans and if you have a couple of spares i would like to buy them off you.

I notice you've also added all the props and supports for the anti-grenade grid. In fact, there's a huge number of tweaks on there

It's not until you own one of these models that you can appreciate what comes as standard and what has been designed, built and fitted by the poster

Your right, The basic kit is good but to get the most out of it you need to spend a lot of time adding improvements. i suppose the additional work you do to these kits is part of the attraction in making what becomes your own creation.
The 222 has taken nearly as long as my Panther did and i guess that makes it very good value for the money.

Time to get going on my late Tiger 1 now.

Great looking rig Steve! Nice paint and weathering! A little mud in the wheel wells to cover up the gray would be cool! Seems a shame to paint those beautiful latches and brass details you made.
