Advice needed - Idler Torsion Assy Angle Setup

Been trying to assemble this today. Stage 9 of the manual states to set Idler Arm angle to approx 20 degree to horizontal. However, I'm not sure what part of Idler arm to use as reference for the angle? I've assembled as shown in photos....can anybody with experience of the Sdkfz 7 let me know if this angle is correct please?

Hi, I asked the same question and Sean -Armortek replied. I don't seem to be able to copy his reply in but look at my thread, "First time build" Good luck.
I also got an image from Kian, attached.

Still not sure if I've got the idler angle low enough. When I test fitted the slotted bracket between the idler and chassis the screw in the slot is approx 1/3 up the slot from bottom. Is that where yours is?
I'm also having trouble getting the M5 bolt to grip the torque bar. I have put a flat on the end but it still let's the idler arm rotate slightly around the bar.

Hi, not sure you want advice from me, I stuffed mine up royally and am currently waiting for replacement parts. Have a look in my thread, there is advice there from Sean at armortek.

Hi Colin,
I saw the advice from Sean yesterday. I've tried to get the angle of the Torsion arm as low as possible, but limited by access for the M5 Bolt. I might just leave it where it is for now ( with the bolt through the slotted bracket about 1/3 to 1/4 from bottom of slot ). I've struggled to get the M5 Bolt to stop the Torsion bar rotating when pressure put on Torsion Arm, even with a flat filed onto the end of the bar. Did you manage to do this?
How did you 'stuff' yours up? .
