Hi,
I purchased two beautiful kits, one from Ivano of the Tiger/Panther Maybach, and one from Gunther of his wonderful exquisite working Panther Maybach engine. Both of these kits are unbuilt, and complete (Still in boxes and bags). I am going to take offers on each, and would be happy to give further information or pictures.

Hello,
Unfortunately, I am having a problem locating prices paid for these….i am being honest. The engine kit purchased from Gunther was done so in in July of 2018. His label on box (Which I can supply a picture of) has the contents insured at 838,32€ which is around $950 in 2018 exchange rates.
I too have been unable to reach Ivano Constantino to find value of his kit. So, I am honestly left asking for offers. I would also love to hear from either Ivano, or Gunther if possible to assist me.

Hi,
I saw you post and I think I can help, assuming of course that you have not sold the engines or decided to keep them. I have three of Ivano's engines, a HL230P45 (Tiger 1), an unbuilt P30, and an Ivano built display engine. I paid 750 Euros for the P45, 950 Euros for the unbuilt P30, and 2,000 for the display engine. As for Ivano, I suspect that he may have left the 1/6th modeling scene. We were pretty good friends and he did several special projects for me over the years. I am afraid that I have been unable to contact him as well.
I am intrigued by this Gunther engine you mentioned. Could you please tell me a bit more about it?
Finally, I live in Northbrook, not too far from you I would guess.

Paul,
Nice hearing from you. I’m not really sure what to mention about the Gunther Engine, other than he seems to have copied it part for part, and that it even includes Pistons! Tomorrow I’ll look at his instructions and try to give you more insight. I think I purchased it back in 2012, or 2014… but again I’ll look. The issue I had with selling was that of price. The last individual was thinking $600 for both, but then I realize that it would have to be way over that and politely told him that that amount won’t work. I would still sell, but I’m going to have to get probably more than the Hobbiest would want to pay, and I certainly respect that! I am a retired pilot for American Airlines and live in the Naperville area. Why don’t you send me an email….and tomorrow I can send you some pictures if you like?
Respectfully,
Jack Hrovatin
