nice pics paul, it was too cold for me to come out of the garage so got a bit more done on the panther, you never know we might even get some snow soon, i expect there will be quite a few photos on then lol

Point taken
i did remove it this year and fitted the Mike Stannard item and i lost a lot of signal so put the old one back on but i will now have another look at it.

Nice set of photos, frosty mornings like that are ideal settings. I also like the Preston dock area and its good to see these models being run.

Hi Paul, what I did with my Stannard aerial rubber base was to drill out the main round headed centre bolt so that the aerial wire pulls through. I then managed to get a suitable piece of hollow carbon fibre fishing rod tip from a local shop which was free because it was part of a broken rod.
