Leopard 2 toolbox hinges

Evening all, brand new to this subject, just bought a leopard 2kit and have embarked on a stiff learning curve ,but enjoying the experience so far. I am in the process of mounting the rear bin covers. Have identified the hinge a,item CV0670 but it appears that all the hinges are the same hand I.e. the pivot pin all face the same way. The pin mounting holes are countersunk on the pin entry side and the bore is reduced in diameter opposite this countersink such that the pin will not enter the reduced diameter.
As such all the pins face to the l/h side and will not line up with the fixed pivot pin. Should I drill through and use adhesive to position the pins or have the incorrect hinges been supplied, should 2 part numbers be applied to indicate opposite handed components, also require a spare. How do I go about this?

Hello Eric,
Are these the hinges you are referring to, The hinges will all be the same so maybe just run a drill or reamer through the pin holes then the pin will fit either side, Use a Loctite to secure the pins in,
Hope this helps, And any spares can be ordered through armortek,
Chris.

Hi Chris, thanks for the prompt reply. I can open the holes but it seemed as though they had been machined to be handed. 1 end was countersunk to allow easy access for the pin and the opposite end was plain bored but at 2.0 mm diameter. All the pins located to the same depth.
Just seems strange that all 8 pivots supplied in the kit are machined identically. But if opening them out is the answer but i will have to be careful making sure that the pins are properly located before tha adhesive goes off. Thanks again for the help
