Todays the day

With great expectations I have finally opened my brand new Cheiftain tank. I have been waiting for this moment for years. So far I have organized my fixings and got rid of all thats horrible pva packing.

One thing I noticed is the instruction manual doesn’t tell you which box the parts is in, unlike the Leopard I have just built unless I am missing something.

This is all old hat to you guys who have almost certainly built all your chieftains as it was released in 2019 so I am lagging best part of 6 years.

Wish me luck.

Good luck Martin, hope it all goes well. Looking forward to seeing your build on the forum.
Are you going full R/C or boat anchor (static)?🤔
Your right that packing certainly does takes time to chew through, 🤢
Lots of advice on the forum and good weight lifters belt will come in handy too.🤣

No paper weight. Full option packs for me. Can’t really afford them at the moment, just retired so got to be a bit more careful with money. Will have to sell some something.

Good to hear.
Apparently you can get by with one kidney if you don't over do it.🤣
Once built, Chieftain will look good side by side with the Leo.
