Panther/Jagdpanther cooling fan grilles

Hello all,
I've just completed a pair of cooling fan grilles for my 2022 new build Jagdpanther (please see build logs if unfamiliar with this project) using correct profile and scale thickness steel mesh. The originals were roughly welded onto the cast fan covers and mine are simply epoxy glued on and simulated welds made in 6 positions using Milliput superfine white putty.
I made these to replace a set of Armortek photo etch grilles I'd acquired when collecting parts for this model as I was unhappy with the flat profile.
I'm now offering these at 45 Euros a pair (@ $47 Dollars) plus shippimg. Made from rolled brass tube and stainless steel mesh, they accurately portray the originals as you can see from the photos. The grille for the raised fan cover on the new Jagpanther G2 will necessitate you making a square section tubular surround - again as per photos. I do not supply this as my model is an early production version with flat grilles as per Panthers Ausf A and D.

Please PM for more details and to place your order. Am happy to ship worldwide.
Best regards from Normandy

Hello all,
Just a quick update on the grilles. The first batch of 12 have now been delivered to buyers and the next batch is underway.
If anybody would like any then please PM for details of shipping, etc. as I need to order more mesh material. I am also producing the 4 matching rectangular grilles for the radiator inlets and will be posting pics and more details of these very shortly. They mimic exactly the mesh with crimped rectangular section edging and rounded triangular corners as per the originals. Please note that the ones fitted in the attached photos are ones acquired at the start of the project and not the new style I'm working on at the moment.
For the round grilles, the fitting method is to abrade the top face of the aluminium fan cover then glue in place with 5 minute epoxy. Before it's fully cured, trim back the excess epoxy then finish with 6 Miliputt dummy welds adjacent to the bolt/nut fixings. And talking of which, the M3 fixings supplied with the kit are, in scale, too big. So what I did was use the hex head screws (fitted from the underside of the vents) then tap out M2.5 nuts to M3 (drill 2.5 diameter for tapping) and fit on the top as per the original. The 2.5 mm nuts are a scale hex size for the original M18 nuts.
Below are some shots of the first pre-production units fitted to my "non kit" built Jagdpanther whose progress can be followed in the JP Forum section. A new update will be posted before the weekend (14th December). As always, you can click on the images to view full size.
Happy building!
