Saturday Fun!! 5th Anual Reichshof Tank Meeting 2024
For the 5th time now, the experienced Reichshof Organisation Team (Steffi, Andreas, Peter, Lena, Lucka, and Lothar) have organised a splendid tank meeting!!!
This privately organised meeting has grown considerable over the past five years and has now become one of the biggest in Germany.
Yesterday, Saturday 17 August, the thus far biggest tank meeting in Reichshof took place. Tankers of all ages (14 months to well over 60 years of age) and origins (with the Brits being the largest group this year) participated....
Despite the weather, everyone had a blast and is keen to show up again next year.
Here are a few pics (everyone who was there is more than welcome to add more). Hope you enjoy:
THE BUILD UP:
2 weeks to go.... Final preparations, 2 days to go...

A truly brilliant event, that I feel privileged to be invited to (3 times now !). A long drive from the UK, but well worth it for the hospitality, friendship, and superb running area. Even the scary night run - we just don’t do things like this at home !
Many thanks to the Reichshof Gang, as always.
An appreciative,
Chris

For me it was the first time attending the meeting and it was a blast!
Some familiar faces, and some new ones for me.
The setup was superb, lot's of space to drive/ride around, sveral obstacle to take (near Lothar's Bar
and much more.
The BBQ was great, and the breakfast Superb, 5 stars!
Thank you all for a great weekend
Some initial mud removal :

Two lonely survivors, worn out from lots of work, drained by lack of sleep, devoid of a nice rest after a stressful weekend,.... .... decided to tackle the remaining work.... (and yes, you guessed right, what that might be... ).... More food....
I spared you a pic of the cake and coffee, we had after that.....

This was by far the most amusing thing to see.
Jagdtiger 2020 number 40. With Gun Smoke, CO2 recoil and Driving on custom Brushless motors.
Leopard “ The Bear” build with a difference. Big power for good reason.
222 scout car

A video of mainly our tanks running at Reichshof, a little selfish of me sorry.

It’s not a public event - it’s by invitation only. It’s held on private land, purely for fun.

That's a shame. I'll keep my eyes peeled for events next year, hopefully I'll be on the Militracks list again.Chris Hall wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 1:42 pmKeith -
