Clive yes it is a puffer one of 2 , I have this one is a mountfleet highlander and it is very very weathered and has lots of modifications.
Hi Bob, Thanks I hope to get the winter wash on this weekend and I want to go for a late winter effect with the white washed away in large areas
and the cammo showing through then rust and grime added.
That was the first attempt ever with a spray gun for the base coat and the first go with an air brush for the cammo and the numbers were done using Armorpax stensils and again the airbrush and Tamyia acrylic paint.

Is it an x-tra bought from Gill or built your own?

That MG ball mount looks familiar

Aha, a late in war 50/50 yellow/green cammo - nice.
If I may give a comment I think it will look a bit better if some of the wheels also got the green color as seen in this cover from Dragon:

Some weathering will look marvel on an already fine paintjob.

Its my own bulkhead made from 10 mm alloy and it is cut away
on the top edge to take the drivers hatch plate and then I use the 3 plate mounting screws in the deck and plate to hold the deck down because the bulkhead has 3 tapped holes in it.
I have not finnished painting but that was the look I went for and I am going to go winter over the top of that.
This is my first ever big tank and I am learning a lot and having great fun as well.
I am not sure yet about how the wheels will end up at one time I thought about having the rear station steel rimmed but I want to get the PZIII unpacked and I can not do that till the Panther is done.
The MG mantlet is a great bit of work and seets off the front end realy nicely....
