Had a few busy days still can't believe how good this kit is. Fitted steering but can't work out why the wheels are not set straight

Have you plugged the actuator into the receiver and centred it ?

Servo and linear actuators can be supplied in any position. You have to power them up so they find their centre point before attaching anything to the shaft, in the case of a servo, or the end of the actuator.
With a servo, you can usually move the arm and find the end points, which allows you to estimate the centre point.
You can't usually move a linear actuator like that, so best to plug it into the receiver and centre it that way.
Adrian.
