I have been slowly progressing the build of kit 24 .I have tested the motion, sound and lights kits with the battery an RC and everything worked much to my relief! Progress is quite slow now as I have to paint the major panels befor fitting them to the car!
Am now progression the tail gate assembly and the flatbed sub assembly slowly! I have tried out the motion (without the wheels on) and am pleased that they all go round as they should do.I have fit all the electronics neatly into the engine space which will no doubt be a challenge especially if the speaker is to go in there! I have painted the letters on the number plates which make them stand out better
If anyone does get a Land Rover badge I would love to have one just message me with the cost.
Regards to all from Calgary Alberta where we are snow bound at present!,,

The kit is early finished with mainly the canvas top to add on and secure! I would like to get a suitable figure for the front but haven’t found one yet as most are 12 inches high and I need about 10 inches, I also need to tidy up the wires a bit under the hood ( bonnet)!

The series 1 Land Rover build is complete….or at least I think it is. I had a lot of issues with the canvas top to make it look half decent and in the end I rolled up the rear end so that you get a view of the inside. I have tested the electronics and they all work generally! I will film it running outside if the weather keeps ok….. but this Canada after all!

Certainly a well travelled kit to make it all the way to Canada!
And by the sound of your weather a 4x4 like this is the best vehicle for the conditions lol.
How did you find the build Bob? Was it everything you expected? Were there any pitfalls or problems?
I'm months into my build but going very slowly as I'm detailing the kit more than intended.
Best regards, Mick
