Hi Clive,
I'll wait and see what the forecast says on Saturday night before making a final decision but the forecast today for Carnforth says -3 on Saturday night so I might be out early on Sunday morning to take some photo's while the frost is still there

Been waiting all year for a nice frosty morning
Hopefully see you all at the new Leighton Hall site on Sunday morning. Confirm time on Saturday night.
Thanks Antony

hi clive and antony
i can make sunday, ether at the running ground or at clives.
my boss as just bought 560 sheets of 8x4 9mm ply wood , at 50p a sheet new

we could make a nice town out of some of it

i sure he was selling it for £3 a sheet.

i cant move in my garage with the dam stuff

but it would make a nice new shed

Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear you've sold your Panther

Hope to see you soon, Antony

Hi Antony
I would like to have kept the Panther but i need the money to make my next purchase. like many Armortek owners i enjoy building more than running the tanks (thats not to say i dont enjoy meeting up with the guys at Leighton Hall) so the Panther had to go to a new home in Germany.
I have managed to get a unbuilt Armortek late Tiger 1 for my next build, This should keep me going for the next few months

. Just got to finish the 222 and i will at least have something to run at Leighton Hall.
I am aready thinking of what colour scheem the Tiger will be in, maybe one of the following:-
SS-Pz-Abt 101 No 222 of Uscha Sowa (used by Witttmann at Villers-Bocage)
SS-Pz-Abt 101 No 007 Wittmanns last Tiger
SS-Pz-Abt 101 No 205 Wittmans official Tiger
SS-Pz-Abt 504 No 200 Itallian front
s.Pz-Abt 505 No300 Lt Roder Eastern front
To many choices
See you soon
Steve

Wow Steve, that is a great list of Tigers

. The good thing about the Tiger I is there is plenty of help (if needed) in this neck of the woods. I'm looking forward to seeing your 222 running too. Congrats on the Tiger I

Looks like we will both be busy building our tanks over the Christmas hols
See you soon Steve,
Thanks Antony
