Gentlemen,

I am the bringer of good news: You have today surpassed the required number of 30 confirmed orders! 31 to be exact.

I am both impressed and amazed by your enthusiasm and relentless Famo chanting skills! Kian will post some further details on our Famo plans in a few days' time and we are looking forward to start the 2018 Famo kit project.

Best wishes to you all,
Monique

FAMO = Finally Achieved Model Orders

Well done all, it must be one of the longest and most dogged of campaigns and an enlightened response from Armortek. As far as I can see, Chang started the ball rolling in Jun, 2009. Perhaps he deserves 001?

Don't let the thread be too quiet. Found a beautiful exploded diagram of the FAMO:

Nice diagram Chang, I am hoping that mark will consider leaving the engine bay empty for us to insert an engine, I would think that the option packs could live behind all that tin work somewhere, it's plenty big enough! 8) Phil.

The Famo, what variants/ variant will Armortek consider making for us?
Could we have a choice of say an artillery tractor a towing variant and maybe the recovery variant with spade, there's not much difference in the tin work? The tilt/tilts depending on the variant would be a must as part of the kit.( the towing Version late, had front and rear canvases).
I would think that the Wheatcroft Famo would be the most convient to go and measure up. the front tyres don't look quite right to me regarding that example, a tad to small or is it just an illusion? The big balloon tyres look so cool.
No doubt Dave is already pondering which detail upgrades Armorpax will offer, the sooner the better for me as I shall super detail the beast inside and out, Dave a basic engine would be great to, and if we get a maintenance vehicle a fully equipped workshop option would be wonderful !

Please keep us up to date with your thoughts Armortek it's very important :D , I predict this Famo release will be nearly as big as the Tiger 1 has been, regards Phil.

Thanks Timo for photos of the transport version.
Just my thought, not necessary correct, that this version will be the one released.
From this photo I can see three areas are either different with or missing from the machine shown in war-time photo. Beside the not-so-obvious different tyres. Wonder the 1/6 model will be rectified or stick on these areas?

BTW Timo, Could you please telling us how to post a larger size photo like you did?

Kind regards,
Lerh Chang

Hello Chang,

please. :) And sorry, this FAMO is a late version. When i reserce it right, it gave three versions and this is a later version. But on the site
from where the pictures are, they say that this FAMO is not 100% correct restored. But what is not correct, i don´t know it.

I look in the book what i have from the FAMO and i found these pictures.

I hope I could answer you the questions.
But my english is not the best.
