Hi Dale

Looks great! As Phil said, the mantle is one of the trickier part to zimmerit. At least you got that behind you. :)

The rest will be easy.

It was nice to here from you yesterday.
kindest regards
Tim

Hi Dale.
Your Tiger is looking really nice. What are you using for the zimmerite, and how are you applying it? Is it still going to be from the 507?
Cheers,
Simon.

Hello Simon click on the link below I did the same as Tim .. Not sure witch tiger unit yet . Zim was not much fun until I got the hang of it . The good thing if you don't like it just wash it off with water and go again . Dale

Nice work with the Zimm Dale.

> just wash it off with water

I take it the paint will protect in once you're happy with it ?

Or is it like acrylic paint which is waterproof once fully dried ?

Adrian.

Hello Adrian , you have about 1/2 hour to play with it . If your not happy wash it off and start again it take all day to dry very good stuff sticks like glue a light sand then just prime it ..Dale

Hi Dale, great work with zimmerit, it seems perfect.
Only one thing:
In all pictures I've seen it seems that there is no zimmerit between the rear mudguard hinges and the bottom (so the area below the mudguards), I made the same mistake on my tiger, I will fix as soon I will repaint it.
Also, some tigers (not all) had zimmerit also on glacis, not a standard at all but there are pictures about them.

Thanks Andrew I removed the Zim from under the rear mud guards as it did not let them sit down properly well spot on that one ..Dale

Hi Dale

I did the same thing. Easy to remove.

Xacto the edges where you want to remove to and simply, lightly chisel off with a flat head driver.
