Richie,
Thats the best wife made bridge I've ever seen. You're lucky your wife not only supports your hobby but actually participates!
With a little paint and weathering it will look awesome. Its about the right height for a railroad bridge. Trains needed vertical clearance.
Cool stuff.

Hi Bob
Thanks for the nice words, she only had 5mins me showing her how it works, and she never snapped a blade
i may just scrap this one , as i not really happy with the height
the bottom looks ok with the dolly
, unless we build some dummy tracks and use it has a rail bridge
.

How about cutting through it along the centre of the cross braces - half the height and two bridges for the price of one
Adrian.

Hi Adrian,
Great idea
. Then we could have 2 spans and no waste
. You can't bin it after all yours and Lisa's hard work.
Thanks Antony

Richie,
Instead of a Bridge too far, its a Bridge too tall!
Have your wife saw 3-4 inches off the bottom! She's a jigsaw ninja. That would drop the height some.
I wouldn't scrap it yet. I'd throw a little paint on it - see how it looks after its chopped and lowered.
I think its a keeper. -Bob

Just had me ear bashed, she has seen the word 'scrap it'. The bridge is now sorted
, being lowered and detailed (by me). i'm in the dog house again!!!
Thanks for all your nice words, she loved the 'jigsaw ninja'.
