Ah it's a Tiger and a Leopard for me, though I must say, a Winter Camp Leopard would go well with my plans for the Tiger..

I was pondering Chang's question on armor thickness while taking a few days away from the UK's extended winter weather.
(Global warming my ar...)
Then this happens, two of Germany's most iconic AFV's turn up on the Armortek sales list.
Just as well you didn't get two Leo's Alex, giving opportunity to those overseas who even now are looking at their bank balance.
Ahhhh It's only money. :D

You can’t go wrong with heavy German armor!

Nice choices on tanks. I like the gradual improvements to their systems, smokers being added to main gun and machine guns.

Curious about the new electronics offerings TBA…

I'm with you Damon, pleased the smoking gun barrel effect has been resurrect by Armortek.
A bit of delving into the red box connections and a MG coax flash effect can be had for Chieftain, though you'll need another type of slip ring.
Experimenting is not for everyone and a nice little PnP flash and smoker module would be just the ticket. 8)

Glad to see the Leo is on. Although I was thinking of A6 or even A7. A4 is too good to pass-by.
Wonder if the track link is steel + rubber?

The Leo tracks will need to be strong. Preferably steel!
I had a Challenger 2 from another manifacture many many moons ago. Where their WW2 tank track was seemingly bullet proof. The multi link Challenger 2 track on the other hand wore and pulled out of shape at a disturbing rate.
Those models are not the quality build that were used too seeing here, but at less than half the weight, if they struggled it could be a cautious warning.
The Leo should be fast, running rings round Chieftain "lying in wait" "hull down position" "a bit of maintenance" certainly stopped.
Looking forward to the inevitable drag race.
I fancy the Chieftain, the tracks will fall off the Leo if made in alloy :D

Could the soon-released Leo 2A4 be based on this Dutch Army one ?

You know there's a popular snack food manufacturer who's advertising jingos used to include the phrase:
"You just can't have one!"

Well big tank models are just like that.

Before you, my Armortek brothers and sisters, drift off to blessed slumber this evening wherever you may be put this serendipitous thought
into your mind that the Armortek wizards and elves will undoubtedly sense:

"Late JagdPanther" "Late JagdPanther" "Late JagdPanther"....

May your hopes and dreams come true...

How about a D.U.K.W. kit? This would make for a very unique model!

I've had the Dean's Marine 1/10 kit for years but I think a 1/6 truly amphibious model would be the cat's meow....

Next model the NSU Kettenkrad?

During Militracks I bought a ticket for a ride on the Kettenkrad.

To be honest, this was a lot of fun. I was amazed that the ride - although bumpy - went unexpectedly smooth,
and it went pretty fast though the rough terrain.

So, maybe the next model????

Good to see another request for a DUKW, it would be a great model indeed!

1/6 Kettenkrad is too small to be RC. 1/3 maybe?

In Hausen there was a RC Kettenkrad in 1/6 scale and even a motorcycle combination......
