Re: Martin's Elefant
It is time for a little update with the first electric components like loud speaker, battery tray, some relais, smoker and batteries - painted to see only a black surface from outside through the gratings.

Re: Martin's Elefant
Hi Martin,
This Elefant is one of the kind. Watching your photos is an enjoyment.
Found in this photo there are two cylinders (circled). What are their purpose ? In my Elefant, I turn two drive motors & mounts 90° in upright direction. No problem at all (only possible in Elefant). I think this will save more interior space for other usage. Just my two cent. Nobody else have done this, yet I don't think it's a bad idea.
Regards,
Lerh Chang

Re: Martin's Elefant
Hi Chang,
thank you for the compliments.
The two cylinders are the new feet of the bridge for the electronic devices above the big batteries.

Re: Martin's Elefant
In the meantime i mounted the barrel, the recoil and all the electric components including the 60 Watt amplifier from Benedini.
I moved the servo for making the hight of the barrel above the bearing of the barrel because in the underground was no more place for it.
