Hi Guys
A Picture of the suits in sunlight this shows the colour better as the
other photos seem to be a bit dark.

Re: my comet build some photos
Hi Guys
With the help of some cable ties and clamps to lift the wheels and
take the tension off the tracks I have fitted the tracks to my comet.
Interesting not one reply to my last posts 20 days ago

Re: my comet build some photos
Guys
Another couple of photos.

As there seems to be not much interest in the Comet section these will probably be the last photos of this build.
Thanks for looking

Re: my comet build some photos
don't loose heart in the posting Derek, there's not much interest in my topic that i am running over on the king tiger section, i enjoy the builds and say so if the person makes the effort to show their projects, plenty of members view the builds but don't comment. regards simon.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the comments .
I painted the tracks with ford grafite grey to tone them down a bit.
They were one of the best tracks I have built really nice castings.

Yes don't give up Derek,
I think your Comet is super, besides I'm looking forward to any weather etc you might be adding to it. That's if you are planning to do so!
Of course there will be times when you don't get the response we would all like on our builds.
As Simon says there are plenty of members that view the builds but don't comment.
So please continue to send your postings in with your photos and comments.
Cheers

Re: my comet build some photos
Hello Derek, I have been following all the 'builds' since joining the Armortek band of brothers. As a retired old git this forum is a real highlight of my day. I am sure there many more who access the Forum who never post. Yes, there are quiet times between the 'builds' and a bit of a lull at the moment.....I, like many others are waiting patiently for the 25PDR and Limber upgrades....then it will all kick off again. Regards Mick

Re: my comet build some photos
Hi Guys
My Comet is going to get its first public outing at the
London Model Engineering show at Alexander palace this coming weekend.
It is still with some details to be added and I will post these when I get round to fitting them.
I have 3d printed scope inserts but not finished the painting of them.
I will be on my Welwyn Garden City SME stand.
My stand is near the Tamiya trucking area this year.
Look forward to meeting anyone coming.
Regards
