Re: yves king tiger update
Yves, Your KT looks great. The circular brace around the turret motor is a good idea. I also like the co-axial MG now sit in some kind of dark block (?) inserted into the MG slot. I wonder is it a sponge or something?
Also, have you sorted out how to make the co-axial MG barrel moved up-down simultaneously with the Kwk gun barrel?
Keep up good works!
Cheers,
Lerh Chang

Re: yves king tiger update
Hello,
Thank you guys for the the compliments about my work.
John, i'am gonna use a 3 collor camo, dark yellow TS-3 in spray cans ( Tamiya )
dark green XF-61 in little jar ( Tamiya )
red brown X 64 in little jar ( Tamiya )
But still dont know what color scheme i'am gonna use ( perhaps my own )
Chang, the MG in the turret is fixt in a resin cillinder with a screw, this MG
is not moveable. The one in the hull is only left en right movement.
Yes i put a extra bracket on the turret rotation motor because i know from some
people that they have problems with the turret rotation.
best regards Yves

Re: yves king tiger update
Hello,
Thank you guys for your nice comments,
Today arrived my extra detail parts from Mike so i can start again with the
little things.
Last weekend i dit some work on the turret, because on monday i had a operation
on my left knee. So the next few days i can not drag around with large pieces.
So now it's the time the work on the little things on the KT
best regards Yves

Re: yves king tiger update
Thanks for posting the pictures of camo schemes. I should be putting some camo on Padges King Tiger this week. First tank with the zimmerit will be similar although if I ever get a King Tiger I will go with the non zimmerit ardennes version on the second KT

Re: yves king tiger update
Hi Yves
I think John's Tiger is # 366. The one in your photos looks like a 1:16th scale model. Very similar paint job to John's though.
