So sad, Gill was always there for me. She took care of me as if I was the only customer. I always kidded with her to stop by even through I live in the U.S.

Shocking and saddest of news. My condolences to Mark and their family.
Gill had that rare gift of making everyone she was talking to feel that they were valued. Looking back to the early days of Armortek in Daventry, it was clear that Mark and Gill together were starting something very unusual because of their highly complimentary skillsets. Mark's creative flair matched with Gill's business acumen and people skills, a dream team.
Thank you, Gill, for your kind words on the end of the phone, your cheerful smile at Open Days and shows, and for setting the tone of helpful advice and friendliness that permeates this Forum. You enriched all our lives. We will never forget you.

Hello, What terrible news, so sorry Mark for your loss. Gill was such a calm and helpfull person and one of the reasons I got so much into Armortek, as nothing was too much trouble , although she didn't know me from Adam. It was a pleasure to meet her at the Open Days. She will be sadly missed
Kind regards
Duncan

I just got back from hunting camp and saw this....

My sincerest condolences to the entire Armortek family.

Had the pleasure of meeting Gill when I visited Otterbourne in the fall of 2017. An infectious smile and a total passion for the company, its products and all the people who make it great... both team-members and customers!

I hope the rest of the Christmas season brings everyone enough joy to help fill the void left by Gill's departure...

In Memory,

RPR

I am so sorry, I can not believe it.
Gill and Mark have been like family to me and have provided me with many years of pleasure and enjoyment.Gill was an absolute delight and although I have not seen her since she and Mark left Armortek I will sorely miss her, but have fond memories of the great times we all had together. My heart goes out to Mark and their family.

Oh dear me how sad. I have not been active with Armortek for some years now but I bought an Early Tiger 1 and a Sherman tank from Armortek. I made a visit to the open day many years ago when Mark and Gill were in charge. In those times I spoke a lot to Gill and Mark. I really enjoyed building and owning the models, absolutely top notch products. I sold them on and in a way regretted it but my love is building models rather than running them but you can't do everything you want to in life. Please pass my condolences on to Mark. Again what sad news - RIP Gill.

Mark please accept our most sincere heartfelt condolences to you and your family at this sad time.

Gill was the most wonderful person anyone could have the pleasure to meet.
When buying my Tiger 1 i really felt I was buying it from Gill and that she sold it to me rather than Armortek- such a wonderful person was she.

You will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

RIP Our Gill.
