Awesome build & extremely impressive modelling skills.
If it is supposed to represent one IN use during the 2nd world war, then I would suggest that the weathering has been overdone. Museum exhibits, especially if they have been stored outside, may look like that now but they would not have done so after 2 years at the end of the war.
However each to their own and everyone should do their model as it appeals to them. I will admire every Armortek vehicle I see & their owners for building them. I may disagree with the end result but that is purely my personal opinion.
If it is right for you and that is how you want it to look, then it is right.

at the moment there are about 250 hours of work in the painting there is no end in sight

It takes time and patience to achieve such results. Heiko, this is superb. Thank you for sharing. When you get to this stage, it’s hard to stop and say it’s done. There is always a temptation to add more. At this point on my Centurion, I knew I needed to add a very light coat of dust but one spray too many and it would have ruined six months work. So I wish you the courage to know when it’s done. Only you will know. Outstanding.
