Thanks Steve, I will deal with the gap when I do the weld details. However, there was something I had done wrong, if you look carefully at the photo, I’d actually fitted the top hull plate upside down. Hence my gut feel that something was not right. No matter, a quick correction and a couple of passes with the etch primer to deal with the scratches and all is now good. Mind you, I’ve only assembled 8 components and got one wrong. Not exactly a stellar performance. Now, which way round does the gun go.............
