And here the covers and plates are mounted onto the bottom plate.
The bottom plate is also welded to the hull sheets.

In the meantime the road wheels are made ready on the inner side of the King Tiger.
It is a good training for the outside later.

Hi Martin,
Shouldn´t the lock tabs be on the outer wheels ?
Or did you have enough to put them on all wheels ?

Hello Mark,
you are right, the lock tabs should be on the outer wheel. But i have so much tabs, that i can mount it on the inner and outer wheel, and also for one more King Tiger!!!!!

please note that the most photos are made from the inside and the wheels are weathered there.
The outside isn't weathered - that will come later.

Nice weathering Martin as usual, you must have a sore index finger, im looking forward to your technique regarding the larger hull areas, shes going to look like she has done a few road march miles in the summer time ...Phil.

Fantastic work, we have yet to paint our Tiger and you have set a standard for us to reach for but I am not sure we will do it. Excellent.
