Brilliant job and especially the paintwork Heiko, really Great photos also. You have the artistic eye alright, the last one is spoiled though by the Jetstream in the sky or is it ???
I'm sure Phil might have a say on this !!

Bryan.

Heiko,
Amazing looking PZ4. I like the black and white photos - very realistic! Your paint technique is fabulous.

"He runs clean and no children's diseases" - Good to know as well!

Fantastic effort!

I'm just building an FG1250 system Falke with MG 42.
As a complement to my tower. Of this device were produced 1,200. There is no use for the use of an Panzer IV, but it would have been possible

Heiko, your craftsmanship is outstanding as ever. Thanks for posting. What an interesting mix of techniques, casting, 3D printing, brasswork and an interesting mix of materials too. I did wonder whether 3D printing was "cheating" in some way, too easy but it produces such good results in one sixth that I think its use is justified and it needs its own skill set to get it right.

Best regards.

Stephen

Looking at the night vision mounting on the cupola I suspect that as inside the tank the MG42 butt would be removed for added space when mounted, as always exceptional detail has gone into this build.

The reason why I decided for a MG 42 with night vision device is the following. The Panzer IV was taken back from the battlefield to the Nibelungen factory after his damage, and there he was transformed into a Befehlspanzer. He has more radio equipment than a Nomad Panzer IV in the combat room. The Koxial MG was then removed because there was no room for it. In order to compensate the fire power, he now has an MG 42 on top which can shoot faster There is no evidence that a Panz iv was equipped with a night vision device. But it is already Imaginable to have been equipped with it.

Fantastic work. So good that it really looks like a recently discovered full size machine found at the back of a big shed. Wonderful model Heiko.

It almost looks over the top but it's brilliant at the same time, a suggestion for your next project...an anti aircraft mg and rear deck mount for the Tigers and Panthers? Love the work!
