nice details rodger, your muzzle brake looks real, the build is coming along well, after looking ay your muzzle brake my lock washer is too thick on mine, i forgot it bends in to the grooves on the lock ring, next job on the lathe, regards simon manning.

Hi Rog,

Haha, I know what you mean about it being a long haul. my 88 seams to be taking a lifetime

Nice welds, you've got them off to a T. I've got to redo the welds on my Tiger 1 when I get back to its refit, and then its on to the KT. I think I will be 90 by the time I've finished

Hi all having a go at making some periscope prism's for the driver and radio operator out of perspex, and then gluing perspex mirŕor to the angled perspex, worked out really well,
As you can see it's hard to get good pictures will try and get some more done on the weekend

Hi Roger

I think the prism is an excellent result that allows a perfect view.
Did you make it by yourself?
There is only one type of perspex to use?
How did you get a so shiny surface?

Hi thanks for the coment a few more pictures as promised,
As for polishing the perspex I went through the grades from 240 grit 400, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000 wet and dry and then polished with a cuting compound ie,T cut for polishing paint on cars, then laminated the perspex mirror to the angled perspex, with perspex glue
Hope this helps but it's not an easy job
Regards Roger
