the first stage of the exhaust painting, trying to copy a patchy rust effect, slightly burnt, regards simon manning.

Your weathering is amazing. What method do you use for the paint chips.

thanks john and paul glad you like the paint, made a bit more progress fitting the tools which i had made a while back, the rear of the late jagdpanther is a busy place,full to the brim. thanks for looking regards simon.

.thanks again for the positive feedback fellow builders, its hard to know where to stop at this stage on the rear hull, its a bit of a mix and match on parts being a late war vehicle, because the tools and parts are so big each item is a model in its self, and then trying to blend it all in, good fun and a challenge though, once again many thanks, regards simon manning,

That is a stunning build and paint job.
The Jagdpanther is still my favorite of all
the German stuff (except perhaps the STUG III) :lol:
shame I missed out getting one of these models twice now :(

thanks, tim, steve, derek, one more step forward, the new armortek mg mount fitted with the bullit trap steps already machined in, i milled the panther mg myself before, bit of a work up holding it, this was easy paint and install, also u-shackles fitted, glad you all liked the jag so far, regards simon.

Amazing details, Amazing paint work, and Amazing weathering. It looks like a real tank in a museum. Doesn't get any better than this! You will have to write a book someday to teach us all how to paint like that. Fantastic work. Another "best in show".
