Hi Fellas.
Just a few pictures of the next King Tiger on the list, this time the customer wants the tank built straight from the box with no added extras.
[Imageimg][/img]
A few pieces have to be left off on the build and there is some quite scary battle damage to be added ... I set off drilling pilot holes to make sure I did not go too far and keep to the required shape, then moved onto a GRINDER any guesses as to the tank?
[Imageimg][/img]
[Imageimg][/img]
I must admit to approaching this part of the build with some trepidation ... but I think it came out O.K. comments please.

Now I know I am biased as he's my lad but I think its a very tidy job, and its all Armortek parts, cheers kid you can do another

Another nice & tidy KT from your workshop! Enjoyable to watch it!
The interior layouts and wiring are helpful to amateur like me.
I reckon the skirts to hanger M3x6 bolts, are not straight from the box but a better replacement. :D
Thanks! Lerh Chang

Paul,

I have to say that you have done a neat instal. The new Armortek system looks really good, I take it that both speed controllers and the interface unit are in the one speed control module. Does the auxiliary module work the turret motors etc and the sound? I'll have to get up to speed with the advances in these kits.

Paul,

Would you offer just the antena shaft for sale? The Stannard version in on it's way here. I'll redo the aerial in some fashion and use the base. I do like your flexible tapering end.

Thanks,

Brown

Hi Brown.
The tapered aerials will be on the craftsmans market in the near future, I am sure we can sort something out.

Alan.
Thanks very much for your comments mate, but I have to repeat, after a bit of hassle that took me off the game for a few days it is my son Vinnie who has done the electrics on this the latest tank, and has Paul Wills said he has done me proud  .
In response to your question the new Armortek set up is I think a vast improvement and hassle free, you are right in what you say except the sound module is completely separate and does come provided with a great set of speakers.
Something for you to get sorted for your birthday perhaps, will you be at the open day this year? I would like to have a chat.
Kind regards Paul and Vinnie.

Hi Paul !
Looking at your photos !!! Your skill is superb ! I'm a novice at this tank building business. It's always been airplanes before. I am the proud owner of KT # 50. I have a million questions but I'll start off with an easy one. Where did you get the turent machine gun ? Does the company have other items I might throw money towards ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you for your time and trouble.....also those very helpful photos.
They are priceless for a beginner !!!!

Hi Edward.
Thank you very much for your coments, most appreciated ... sorry I have not got back to you as yet I have had a few things to sort out, the M.G. you asked about is a Dragon item they can be picked up quite cheaply on e. bay which is where I got this, other than that there are quite a few specialist suppliers in the states but you will of course pay more.
Hope this helps a little. I will mail you when I get in tonight
Kind regards Paul.
