Thanks for those Steve I'm using them already.I've had the green light from the boss to detail the NBC pack, so I have already made a start. The tin work was part of a bailey bridge, I do like to repurpose things.

Thanks guys, as builders yourself you know that we love to build these monsters and for most of us it's the closest we will ever get to owning the real thing! Think of the all the like minded people and potential customers that we entertain with our threads, they all keep the hobby so buoyant , and thanks to Armortek for supplying the metal beasts, keep it up guys
Amen!

The armoured plate on the back of the turret in the NBC box is where the old barrel came out and the new one went in doing a barrel change.
A lot went on in the NBC pack, Scavenge fan and pressure sensor on the inlet side, pressure sensor and pressuring fans on the other side pressuring the vehicle. We were told never to open the NBC pack if the fans were still running as that big armoured door would come flying open.

I did wonder what that dirty great big armoured door was for, thank you Mark! The hinged hatch in the turret roof at the rear left what was under that ?

The two turret batteries plus the filler tube for the drinking water container were under that one. The metadynes were under the bolted cover rear right.

Thanks again Mark, don't suppose anyone has a photo of the layout under that left hatch ?

Hi Phil,
Noticed you have blocked the top of the wiper unit, I made the masters to sit on top of the two raised section on the original kit piece but should work the same on your mods. Drill a small hole to locate the fixed base piece and drill out the end slightly. Wipers should then sit about right to the periscope. The packs contain an extra wiper just in case.
Have to say its one impressive build. Its a while since I have put anything together so looking forward to the summer.
Best regards
Dave

Hi Dave, I was just about to pm you. Those kit blocks would have been the right height but I dressed them down to get them square so I'm short by about 1.5 mm. The plasticard addition brings the blade sockets back up. I am still short of another nine blades for the drives position, the gunners position and the commanders swivel vision block. I will post more on my fitting tomorrow. The detail is awesome mate!

Hi Phil,
Problem is all the other blades are different. The MG set will include the single wiper but the drivers ones work the other way and need deeper blade holders. Not sure on the gunners scope as can't find in any of my pics
Cheers
Dave
