It’s a lovely beast BUT... so many assault guns have been made (Jagdtiger, elephant, Stug, hetzer) we need some More tanks to balance them out.

I do not agree with you.
A series with different Panthers would fit nicely, Panther G, JagdPanther and Bergpanther.

It's undoubtedly true that Wehrmacht panzers have a very wide appeal, not just in one sixth scale. There comes a point, however, where repetition starts to erode the market. Unless you're a particular devotee of German WW2 assault guns, it might seem a bit limiting to keep producing the same thing. The diversity of models Armortek has made in the last few years has been hugely popular, with very few models not selling all or most of the production run. I doubt this would be the case if the offering was more limited. With so many other, more unusual avenues to explore, to continue with more of the same would be risk losing the opportunity to be imaginative and enterprising and therefore appeal to those who aren't persuaded by the myths which have grown up around the WW2 panzers. To quote our favourite broadcasters, "other armour is available".

So perhaps the "Wunderpanzer Jagdpanther" might have to be like a British Rail train....expected, eagerly anticipated but never quite here.....

Jagdpanther is still majestic and absolutely should come back. I want one as well as the 38t.

Hello Ray, yes the Panzer IV could be potentially fitted with the Schmalturm as a cool what if, but I was referring to the Panther as that is on the survey as a potential re-run.

Have you ever had a Abrams tank kit? Or are you primarily WWII?

The majority of Armortek vehicles are WWII with the exception of some tanks that served on in to Korea. The only modern AFV to be released is the Chieftain.

I've been campaigning for an M113 APC and/or a dozer.

You’re forgetting the WW1 Mark IV, the Rolls-Royce, and the Centurion .....

I myself would love to see a miniature gas turbine powered M1 Abrams....fuel it up and go !

I have to agree with the previous poster who said current MBTs don't float my boat... They all look the same more or less.
All the developers have seen the same studies on survivability, power to weight and armaments and came to essentially the same
design conclusions hence similarity. Nato countries use the same root main ammunition, similar track system and other elements and 'the other side'
use one of several Russian entries. I realize this is a broad brush statement in that there's lower level technical differences but as modelers those aren't overly important. There's really not much else of note with Japan and China sticking out...I believe what makes WWII so appealing to modelers is the variety and perceived image - no matter successful or not...No one will argue the Elefant was an overly useful machine that barely learned anything but to catch fire.. but cool? definitely.
