Hello Phil....I also like your 'ramps'. There is nothing quite like the first drive off the lifting table and onto terra firma. The relief having safely reached the ground is wonderful to behold. The heart beats firmly and a knowing smile plays on your lips....Thats rubbish, just pleased it all went well ......Mick

Thanks Paul
No champers,I would have drunk the lot first, with the nice weather today.
Got the ramps a while ago from somewhere like machine mart or similar.
They are plastic and steel reinforced a bit too heavy thogh because they stretch out to
nearly twice the length in the pics.
I made som wooden ones for the car, that lip over the edge of the boot and carpet on.for
some grip.
Cheers

Hi Mick
Yes I didn't take any chances,I clamped the wood panel to the Lift so it would not slip
and a piece of some garden scafoling under the wood over hang to support the ramps.
They gripped the carpet just nice.
A quick vacume around and all the dents and track marks came out of the carpet
Cheers

Good sturdy set of ramps. Like the colour also. After you drive round the garden for a while and bring it back into the house, get some up to date photos of the carpet.
If interested in any parts used in my builds contact me at johnfitzsimons@msn.com for a price list.

Hi John
Just a few little bits to do then its outside for her.
Tigers resting on a piece of block boared at the moment then I have some of that
plastic carpet protectors with the little spikes on the back,to drive out across the
carpet
Once out they don't come back in
Cheers

Hi Paul
Thanks ,You might have noticed trunk of whats left of the big tree
that died and I had to cut down.
I saved a good selection of what decent logs remained from the chopping up.
To keep me occupied and stop me driving over the plants
Cheers

That's more like it Phil,
What a great collection of tanks you have on your green green grass.
What's your next tank you will be working on to add to the list!
Cheers
