Re: Late Tiger 1 Ausf.E/s.H.Pz Abteilung 504
Hi John
Yes the Decal setter would help, the instructions are very good, they say,a gloss coat
first then the decal and then the fixer, followed by another gloss coat and then a matt
coat.
It was cutting round them without leaving too much matterial and then handling them.
One of the smallest is about 1.5mm x 0.5mm
I could barely see it sticking out of my finest tweasers and after a dip in the water
and leave like it said for an hour on some paper towel,it was gone.
Like looking for a white hair on a Polar Bear
You only get one shot aswell
The Radio mouldings are excellent quallity and detail,I reached the limits of my eyes
and fingers
Cheers
Phil

After finishing all those sets you deserve a pint. They look great.

Phil,
Lots of work done on the additional seats. A few sets under construction. Off skiing next week so will have a chance to plan the finishing parts. Should finish in April. Driver view ports almost complete also. Then the gyro compass stand and maybe the gyrocompas but I think this was kept in a wooden box Easier.

configuration(Early 1944)

Hello Phil, I would echo the comments.....your modelling skills are superb. A most interesting build and well worth following. Some very fine detail.
Thanks again for all your help......Mick
