The T34 bursts into life.....very well done Phil, excellent work as usual. I can see you opening a museum soon.....love it.

Great videos Phil
Really enjoyed the smoke generation
Are you using the Armotek smoke kit or a 3rd party?

Thanks Geoff,John and Nick :D
Hi Geoff
I was watching the new years eve fire works, standing on the banks
of the Yarra in 2008.
I bought the new up rated Armortek Smoker and a Richie Wiggnal set up,and I
decided to save the Armortek one for my next project and addapt it.
I like the Wiggnal set up because it receives the signals from the sound module
instead of just the left hand track,so I like it.
They are both as powerfull as each other now.
Hi John
I used 2 of the Steve Winstone flashing MG's on the Comet, but The MG on the T34 was
easy to drill out so I made that one.
The LED's for the Lights I try to use the ones that you can get for the Planes or
Helicoptor lights.
If you look at one of my photo's showing my wireing and the top of the one verticle
battery seen through the turret ring you will see a little yellow board which takes
I think 8 leds powered by a 4.8 to 6.00v battery and you dont have to worry about too
much soldering and trying to work out resisters to protect the LED's
Hi Nick
The Main Gun Flash and Recoil is Armortek's new one which I think will be the same for
each new model that will accept it.
The Flash is 3 LED's 1 yellow 2 red, which seems to end up a bit of white yellow and
orrange and a hint of red :)
Its not as powerfull as the Halogen on my Comet but looks good.
Its a very neat system.
Are you having a set for your Panzer 1V or was this batch too soon for it?
Regards
Phil

Thanks Nick :D
The only working bits on the hatch that I have done are the Hydraulic Latching arm,
which in my case is magnetic, the drivers vision armour raise up to show the optics and
the two flaps on the inside that drop down for the optics to be replaced.
I think a decent servo could replace the latching arm to raise the hatch, but I have reached the switch limitation on the Futaba 7C unless,I was to double up on operations
and have some things working at the same time.
The hatch at the moment has a nice "CLUNK-CLICK" when it latches open and I shut it
back up :D
You will be happy with your Recoil and Flash for your Panzer, its nice stuff.
Regards
Phil
