Update on Phil Dawe's late Tiger 1, after a very long covid related hiatus Phil's Tiger will be heading home this coming monday!
I shall miss the ol girl, she has been adorning my living room for 18 months of so?
I'm just setting the track tension one last time and charging the batteries. I think she's now ready to go.

Fantastic build, where did you get the engine and internals, east coast armories seems very expansive.

Hi Brian,
The Maybach engine kit was supplied by Ivano Costantini who posts on this forum regularly. Not cheap but a work of art. The interior detailing came from East Coast Armor in the USA. Once again, not cheap but easier than scratch building the interior. They were quick with shipping too. We also used 6th Scale icons for some parts. They also are not cheap and can be very slow at delivery if the part is out of stock. We also used Mike Stannard detailing parts which are becoming scarce since his death. Other external detailing came from Tim Catton. Tim's parts are exquisite. I reckon the total cost of the detailing was probably more than the cost of the Armortek Tiger kit but I consider the outlay to be worth it. If any other detailing suppliers come to mind I will add in another post. I hope this helps.
Cheers
Phil

Tiger 1 Cupola Ring
Hello Phil - My name is Skip. I'm currently building a late Tiger 1. I was wondering if you knew where I could get the machine gun and mounting brackets for the cupola ring. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Thank you!
