Some of my favorites from the heavy tow bar trials.

Something worth noting.....the natural weathering reference point on the photo below, look at the staining marks running down from the scalloped fillet between the pannier underside and the hull side, the tank has spent many months outside in all weathers, those marks are totally natural and can easily be reproduced with an air pen. 8)

The old Tiger 1 range target has had some new rubber tyres and a good oiling so it now looks a little better and runs more smoothly. I can now see why the recovery crews would remove the tracks and tow the vehicle on it's road wheels (conditions allowing of course) it's so much easier, only problem, what do you do with the tracks, tow them behind?

I like this one it reminds me of a well known Bergepanther/Tiger1 recovery photo. There's always something wrong with every photo and this one is no exception, the Bergepanther track is just hanging in the air a touch, now I could edit it out but would lose the rear of the vehicle!

Interesting Phil, so I thought I'd translate. The ranges for penetration are pretty salutary. The only weapon that doesn't require suicidal bravery is the 85mm on the T-34.

Nice KT photo Phil. That tree is just the right scale. If that is a model, the scale and background are superbly placed to give the 1:1 look.
best regards,
Bob

According to FB it was being built for a film but took too long, so they lashed up a T55 or something similar instead, so it was left in that state.
